These are a great size for decorating and they will (by next year :) ) hold a lot of candy. They are pretty sturdy... I haven't ruined one yet trying to get a rhinestone to stay where I want it. They fit together pretty well. A few cautions, that you can see in the picture. Sometimes the line around the seam is pretty dark, so you want to make sure whatever you are using will cover that. Second, the cardboard obviously takes more paint than if they were white. Again, all things you can work with and work around. These are exactly what I was hoping for and well worth the cost.Update - the listing says 100 pieces and they mean just that - this is not 100 eggs. This is 100 halves of eggs, which will probably net you around 45-48 eggs as it's not guaranteed to be 1/1. I didn't count pieces, I just started using them so I don't know if there are exactly 100, but it is definitely only 48 +/- actual eggs.
